• Apple Expands iTunes Movies in the Cloud and iTunes Match to New Countries

Today, Apple rolled out iCloud-based features for a number of new countries around the world. Users in Europe, Asia, and North America all began noticing that they have access to movies through iTunes in the iCloud (a feature that wasnít available previously). This wasnít the only new addition, as the Cupertino California also expanded its iTunes Match service to Poland and Hungary.

There havenít been any official announcements regarding the expanding coverage area and as of right now, the official list of countries with iTunes in the Cloud capabilities hasnít been updated either. On the other hand, an extensive list of countries where iTunes in the Cloud movies are now available has been gathered though. This list includes the following countries: Ireland, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Brunei, Cambodia, Chile, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Honduras, Hungary, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Singapore, Slovakia, Sri Lanka Taiwan, Thailand, Venezuela, and Vietnam.

International roll-outs of iTunes in the Cloud functionality has continued steadily since its debut in the U.S. last year. It usually takes some time for features to be released in other countries due to licensing agreements that are necessary to sell content such as music and movies, not to mention certain material becomes available at different times in different locations. Regardless, Apple seems to be doing a good job expanding their feature coverage.
