Plants vs. Zombies is a game by PopCap Games that has been featured in Zombie game catalogs in Apple’s iOS App Store in the past. Plants vs. Zombies is also a very popular game among iOS gamers, as it is a fun game to play and it offers days of endless entertainment. At this point in time, PopCap Games offers Plants vs. Zombies for the iPhone/iPod touch, iPad, and Mac through the App Store.
As PopCap Games points out in a press release, the company is working on a sequel to the popular tower defense game to be released sometime in the first half of next year (2013):
What kinds of features and settings might we be able to look out for? – In Plants vs. Zombies, the user is given a ton of different plant types to help fight off the zombies from the house. For new features, we might see additional plant types that we didn’t see in the first game, which will in turn carry new special effects and offer and overall different game-play. Perhaps more challenging zombie types that are harder to fight off than those in the original game might be present.
As for situations, we know that the original game had both the nonchalant game-play and the more-involved bowling game-play. There were also the levels that offered fog or darkness instead of daylight. The sequel could be adding more challenging levels that offer more of an interesting response from the user and could require more strategy to beat.
The sequel will be available in the App Store when the time comes and it will work on the iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, Android devices, Mac machines, and Windows machines when released.
Now for the hard part; actually waiting for this awesome sequel to be released.
