• iPhone 5 Shipping Times Improving to 2-3 Weeks

Despite recent claims, from Foxconn chairman Terry Gou, saying that it’s hard to keep up supply with Apple’s growing iPhone 5 demands due to the stricter quality control measures being taken, supply appears to be catching up with demand after all. Slowly, but surely.

Apple’s iPhone 5 has been showing the same three-to-four week shipping period since the first day of launch due to the initial supply constraints. Today, these numbers have improved – iPhone 5 shipping times now display two-to-three weeks on Apple's Web site.

Granted, two-to-three weeks is still a rather long wait to be without a phone as you wait for it to ship, the improvement shows that the situation is getting better in the far-away world of iPhone 5 productionland. Some people ordering iPhone 5 units from the carriers themselves are even having better luck getting their devices on a more timely fashion than from Apple's Web site.

If you haven’t ordered your iPhone 5 yet because you’ve been waiting for the long shipping times to pass over, then the good news is you shouldn’t have to wait much longer before things become normal.

Just get in your car and drive to your service provider to get the phone, I walked into the store (AT&T) and picked up white 16GB on Saturday and they had plenty to sell.

Another way some people appear to be getting their iPhones quickly is by ordering the less-common 64GB model.
