Tensions between Apple and Samsung continue to grow high; in fact, Samsung has even increased
mobile processor prices on Apple. After news that
Apple and HTC have come to a 10-year license agreement, eyes turn to Samsung, hoping to see a similar action to end all the drama.
Unfortunately, Samsung will be having no part of any of that. Out of the mouth of a Samsung executive,
Shin Jong-kyun, Samsung has “no such intention” of trying to negotiate with Apple:

These powerful words from Samsung help illustrate the incurable wounds between the companies and displays how Samsung plans to fight tooth and nail with Apple at every chance. The lack of desire to bring the fighting to a close means we are likely to see continued court cases, additional patent infringement charges, and continued mud-slinging and bashing on each other over whose devices are better for the user.
