For those of you eager to get ahold of Apple’s new 128GB offering of iPad with retina display, the wait is now over! The tablet is now available for order on Apple's Web site, and is indicated by the light-orange "New" banner, as shown above.
The 128GB iPad with retina display doubles the previous max size of the device (64GB) and is offered in both the Wi-Fi only model, and the cellular+Wi-Fi model. The Wi-Fi only model can be had for $799.00, while the cellular+Wi-Fi model can be had for $929.00.
The cellular+Wi-Fi version of the mega-storage iPad with retina display is available on AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint’s cellular networks, and the tablet will ship within 1-3 business days of placing your order. Note that the iPad Mini is not offered in 128GB at this time.
Considering that there is a high demand for storage these days, there is a very decent chance that the new 128GB iPad with retina display could start to see major increases in shipping time, so if you’re interested, we suggest you hop on this opportunity as soon as possible, or else be prepared to wait a while.
