Has this happened to you? You're talking on the phone and it seems as if the volume is too loud for its own speaker and it sounds like vibration or static when ever it gets to a loud point? For instance whenever I turn up the volume in call, the dial tones sounds as if its vibrating the speaker. Even when the other person talks loud, it sounds like this again. I'm just wondering if this was normal?

But to test it, make a call to anyone and turn your volume up high. Listen to the dial tone, does it seem to have a vibrating sound or almost a static kind of sound. I noticed this when I reach to about 10 clicks.

someone move this to the iPhone General chat!

Speaking of speaker volume, ugh!! I wish mine was loud, mine isn't loud at all, even just talking normal, you know without using speaker phone, just using the normal earpiece, it is not loud at all, even the dumb ringtones that I have, which are just the ones, that at&t has on the iphone, are not loud at all, if I am listening to my car radio, just a little to loud, I miss all my calls. Is there anywhere that I can maybe get some loud ringtones and somehow get my phone to sound louder on the reciever???

If you install iRadio, there is a file in the app's directory called: SystemSoundMaximumVolume.plist

I followed the directions to move that file into place over the Default apple one
and it increased my volume considerably.

So intall iRadio, then do what its READ ME says...

This is because default preset for volume settings was set too low inside of the
Celestial framework. To cure it follow the steps below:

    1) download http://subband.com/~mewse/SystemSoun...umVolume.plist
(if missing in the distribution, or place the file included)

    2) upload this file to your iphone (via scp)

    3) mv ~/SystemSoundMaximumVolume.plist /System/Library/Frameworks/Celestial.framework/
(replace the old one inside Celestial.framework)

    4) restart, and you're good to go!
If you like hip hop, tune in to: http://iphone.jellyradio.com
Or, if you have iRadio and Terminal installed on your iPhone, do this:
    Enter Terminal, then type:
    cd /Applications/iRadio.app
    ./streamer http://jellyradio.com:8006
Or for a higher quality feed:
    ./streamer http://jellyradio.com:8000
