    can you name the repo?
Not allowed to on MMI but my post a few spots above should give you a hint! ;-)

If you Google 'sysclean repo' the first hit is the website for that repo. Then just add: repo.xxxxx.com (where 'xxxxx' = the website name)

Haven't read all the replies, but wanted to ask: has anyone updated this for iOS 5.1.1? There are a lot more LaunchDaemons .plist files, any we can remove?

The latest 'Daemon Tool' is for 5.0.1 AFAIK. Haven't seen it updated yet...

    Interesting...
    I just installed:

    Daemon Tool iOS5 (v5.0-1)

and it didn't throw an error this time! It might've been updated internally w/out updating the 'version'!

FYI, Daemon Tool iOS5 is a VIP package from a certain repo...

I have VIP on that repo. I prefer to do it manually, so I can learn what is doing what. AFAIK, that Daemon Tools iOS 5 just removes the ones from the list in the front page.

Have you compared their list to the list on MMI? I've never taken the time (cuz I don't care that much, LOL!) to look at each LaunhDaemon but I just assumed it removed more stuff than before.

Yes the package on the repo removes more daemons than this list. Guide needs updating.

I figured so; Glad it was confirmed!

I wonder of anything was added between iOS 5.0.1 to 5.1.1???

Doubt it but it's always possible...

Now that you mention it, I'll check in the next hours with my other iPod on 5.1.1.

    Doubt it tho...

When the 5.1.1 JB first came out, we're you getting the 'Incompatible Error' when trying to install 'Daemon Tool iOS5'?

    Just curious...

Instead of doing this manually, get these tweaks (from an unnamed repo):
    -Daemon Tool
    -Clean Up Crap
-Sysclean or Sysclean Pro (pending in which languages you want to keep)

Get those tweaks and that's about all you can do...

FYI, some of these are on: repo.itortrix.com

It's a repo for filesystem tweax ONLY! It doesn't support or host pirated apps. DaemonTool for iOS5 doesn't work from that repo, though.

    Does 'what' work for 5.1.1?
The LaunchDaemon removal or the tweax I suggested?

Nvrmnd, it doesn't matter cuz all of them work!!! I should've just said 'yes' in the first place, LOL!

I restored my phone the other day and just now tried to run sysclean from the iTortrix repo. Sysclean was updated and somehow knows what repo it's coming from. I'm gonna see if I can 'fix' that and get Daemon Tool iOS 5 working as well. I'll let you all know...
