I am making a new theme called Circlefl0w, and I am making app icons, but I do not want to create thousands of icons then have people make requests. How do I make app icon overlays?

Those only work on app store apps. You will still need to make some for the original and cydia apps. The files go in the UIImages Folder when you make them. I believe there are 3 of them. Do you have a PSD from any of your icons you have made?

Bottom layer : AppIconShadow.png goes on the very bottom. Make whatever shadow effect your icons have.

Middle layer: AppMask.png is like the shape of your icon

Top layer: AppIconOverlay would be the shiny or semi-transparent icon covering part

    Good luck

I was messing around making some overlays yesterday. Here are some issues I ran into. First, the icons overlays would not take effect, so I used iWipeCache. That worked. Second, most of the apps showed okay but there were a few apps that looked slightly off. I think this has something to do with the icon the app might be using. Just thought I'd share.
