First off you go into the bundles and then find the file com.apple.ATT_US, open this folder then rename the 2 files in there, one well be a FSO the other Default rename the Default: [email protected] the FSO file rename: [email protected] and that's it you have to resize the custom carriers because the come out a lil smaller on the new iPhone 4.

How to change your Carrier logos on iOS 4 or iPhone 4-006.pngI would also like to know the size of the logo. Is it still standard 20px hight max and then just add the @2x to the name?

Edit: After pulling the stock logos from my iPhone 4, the size is 63x40px

Ok so try to make the image 40 pixels high and make two of them with the names, [email protected] and [email protected]

    Place them in System/Liberary/CarrierBundles

Then in the folder that applies to your location. Mine was ATT bla bla bla. Can remember off the top of my head

i have done some experimenting it seems the height is at 46 to 47 px and the length can be between 88 to 92 px depending on the size of your carrier.

I finally figured it out on my Touch running iOS4...For one, you cannot have custom text via MakeItMine selected, which is what ny problem was. It must be the stock "iPod"..two, you must name your custom PNG's the appropriate names (multiple people have posted the file names, i.e. Black_CARRIER_IPOD and Silver_CARRIER_IPOD). From here, I made my own theme folder via SSH (name it whatever). Inside this folder, create another folder named UIImages. Inside this, place the 2 PNG files. Then respring.
You should now have your custom carrier logo on your iPod Touch! ENJOY!

I did that, but on iPhone 4 it doesn't work. Even with the @2x in the file name. The logo is displayed but too big

It only works when the png file is named without @2x and the above is how it looks like...

Try this (first post edited on 21st august 2010) Carrier Logo For iPhone 4

and let me know if it worked for you. There is no T-Mobile_UK.bundle, even after you install carrier settings simply replacing logos wont do anything.

Try the MiM trick and post back.

On older iPhones, 3GS, all I had to do was to install "Crispier T-Mobile Logo" from cydia and that was it. I even repeated that on my girlfriends 3GS 4.0.1 and it worked straight away. Some @2x files still don't work on iPhone 4.

On my 3GS, I use iPhone Explorer and navigate to System/Mobile/Carrier Bundles/**your carrier's folder** then BACK UP!! the original files and paste your custom ones in there. Respring and you're done.

I have no idea if it's different on iPhone 4, I don't own one.
