Anyone know how to change the status bar battery on the iphone 4? I would like to have a blue one.

I'm also trying to make a pink one for a friend who has a 3GS on ios4.

I know to change the file name to @2x.png but I still can't get them to work in winterboard. But knowing the file name of the original green one to mod would also work to.

I would also like to know. I thought the originals were located in System/library/coreservices/springboard.app, but I do not see them in iPhone 4.

Am still working on this with no luck. Something is new in iOS4/iPhone 4. I did a complete search through the directory for the old name (OS 3) and found nothing,

find / -name [email protected] (Also tried without the 2x)

That damn image has to be coming from somewhere, maybe a value in plist or something? I don't know....

Yeah you have to DL a special application to see the images from iPhone

See here [ame=http://forums.macrumors.com/showpost.php?p=10770655&postcount=2]Mac Forums - View Single Post - System files show up as an empty png via ssh[/ame]

In System/library/coreservices/springboard.app they have battery icons named 'BatteryBG_(1-14)@2x.png' and those represent the battery on the lock screen when charging. You can DL that and change the hue/saturation to make it blue.

I have photshop master collection and it hase let me view every image but those so far.

I already edited a older lock screen charging battery off of cyida I want to change the status bar one. It's really the only thing I haven't figuered out beside making the status bar to be black.

This is probably because many things moved around on the iPhone 4, that's why winterboard isn't fully compatible yet

I have my status bar black.

    Black_Base.png
    Silver_Base.png
    Translucent_Base.png

Those are the file names. I added them to my UIIMages folder in my theme.

I took my old status bar and doubled the image size.

Ok, I posted this on Macrumors and someone answered!

From there DL the iPhone 4 stock themes and you can mod the images as you please. I am working on some blue status bar batteries to match my charging battery.

When you are on the home screen the battery is white, I will probably leave that to match the text/wifi bars unless I want to change them all.

Once you download the image is in UIImages/Silver_BatteryCharged

Eh, deal is I think those images are sill the low res iPhone 3 versions. I wonder if I can unpack my own. meh

Wow. Well I can understand WHY that url is blocked out.

too bad it was just a forum link. It seems NO ONE has unpacked the iPhone 4 artwork yet, once it gets uploaded I will re-post here. The 3.x artwork works from the above link, just looks like crap on iP4

Well, it was just a link to a thread but I understand the reason behind it.

You can get the 4.0 images here

    4.0 Stock Theme.zip

but those are the lower res ones for previous iPhones. Will not look to pretty on an iPhone 4, but it works. I changed by status bar battery to blue.
