    How to Boost Increase Volume of Apple iPhone

    There is no doubt that iPhone 4 is one of the best mobile phone till date but we all have to admit that when it comes to volume of the music played in headphone or speaker , it is one of the worst and none of the application from Apple app store and cydia store (jailbreak ) can solve this. but now I have found a trick by which you can boost the volume of ipod or ringtone in your iphone (Jailbroken) .So in this article I am going to show you how to increase volume of your Jailbroken Apple iPhone

    I am assuming that your iPhone is jailbroken and you have iFile installed in it , if not you can install it from cydia app store

    Here is the Procedure

    1.Go to iFile and navigate to /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks

    2.Copy the Celestial.framework folder to a different place as a backup

    3.Now Navigate to /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Celestial.framework

    4. Scroll Down and open the RegionalVolumeLimits.plist with Test Viewer

    5.Click edit the change all the decimal number like <real>0.456789</real> to 1 ,as shown in image below

    6.Click Save and then Done.

    7.Now navigate back to /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Celestial.framework

    8.Open the Folder N## in my case N90 {## denotes number }

    9.Scroll down and open the SystemSoundMaximumVolume.plist with Text Viewer

    10.Scroll down and find something like

    <key>default</key>
    <dict>
    <key>default</key>
    .##
    .headphone
    .##
    .headset
    .##
    .lineout
    .##
    </dict>

    11.Click edit the change the decimal number like <real>0.456789</real> to 1 as shown in image below

    12.Now restart your Apple iPhone and you will get to see the result.

    If your iphone does not work properly after the mod , just paste the folder you backed up in start and overwrite it to the modded one

    Have a blast with your louder Apple iPhone!!!!

    Orig I did it on ios 4.3.3. But I recently updated to ios 5.0.1. I no longer see the same files under private framework. Are the files somewhere else now?

    cant find these files in ios5.0.1

    /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Celestial.framework/RegionalVolumeLimits.plist
    /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Celestial.framework/N90/SystemSoundMaximumVolume.plist

    ps..

    looks like the files were moved here..

    /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Mediatoolbox.framework/RegionalVolumeLimits.plist
    /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Mediatoolbox.framework/N90/SystemSoundMaximumVolume.plist

    this is an old string, but I can verify that it works on the 4S 5.0.1 and 5.1.1 flawlessly

    Files were moved from Celestial.framework to these two locations (thanks for the copy-paste material daytonaviolet!!!)

    /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Mediatoolbox.framework/RegionalVolumeLimits.plist
    /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Mediatoolbox.framework/N94/SystemSoundMaximumVolume.plist

    Put it at 150 for all instead of 1 or 0.89 it will make it a lot louder. I did that to my old iPhone 4 last year speakers still work and hasn't blown them.
