    Mac or PC?

    Install tinyumbrella
    Mac here http://cache.firmwareumbrella.com/do....04.00.app.zip
    Windows here
    http://cache.firmwareumbrella.com/do...la-7.04.00.exe

    Connect your phone and click the "exit recovery mode" button. Should fix you.
    I tried that and did not do anything. I get an error in my computer

    The best way to get out of this situation is to use a well-known tool called TinyUmbrella.

    First of all download TinyUmbrella
    Now, making sure your device is connected to your computer, launch TinyUmbrella
    It will automatically detect that your iPhone 5 is stuck in recovery mode
    Select the Exit Recovery button and it should throw your iPhone 5 out of recovery.
    Alternatively, you can right-click on your iPhone 5 name from a list at the side of TinyUmbrella and select Kick out of recovery.

    What error? You need to have java installed for tiny umbrella to work. May be why you are getting an error. Without specifics on what OS you are running and exactly what the error says it is a little difficult to help.

    If you want it completely transparent, as in no background at all, the easiest way is to add the line "display: none;" to the appropriate part of either the HTML or CSS file.. I don't have that particular widget of schnedi's, but I'm fairly familiar with his code so I'm guessing there is a div for either "overlay" or "layer" which is calling the background image.. In the CSS file it will be prefixed by "#", so you should see something like:

    #Layer { position:absolute;
    blah blah blah
    blah blah blah }

    If you add display: none; anywhere in between the {} brackets it should make the image transparent for you
    may I know which css should I edit to make image transparent? thanks

    Do you have the permissions of the Documents folder set to read,write, and execute?

    If you permissions are set correctly try a reboot or a couple of resprings.

    AS much as I love the specificity of Google's free API for location widgets - I'm finding that it's simply not that developed for other places around the world. Though I didn't expect necessarily a set of coordinates to find Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - or places in Antarctica or North Korea - I started to be surprised when I couldn't get Google results for where Simon is in Bermuda. I head back to Madrid, Spain end of May for work I do over there a few times a year - and was very exasperated to discover that Google's Free API can't find Madrid Spain either. VERY, VERY WEIRD!! So the new iWidgets by Platini and Drifter and Marty with GoogleStreet view won't work in places as common as Madrid Spain. What's weird is you can EASILY find Bermuda, Saudi Arabia and Madrid in Street View on GoogleMaps.com... But their API won't return values for those places. Any of you devs using the Google Maps API discovering the same thing?

    Hmm, makes no sense indeed. I wonder if Google has different API's for places outside of North America.

    Read my post again, Simon. I said everything pulls fine at GoogleMaps.com. But not from their free API in a JSON call.

    Awesome advice!

    That did it.

    I guess that explains why my 5c was working........cuz I didn't have a passcode on it

    Sucks though. Wanted to use my fingerprint
    I use AndroidLock XT in place of apple's passcode lock and it doesn't affect Lock Screens with animations . This way i have a passcode and i can also use my a Touch ID .

    Ah... But - no - he wasn't agreeing, Jess. He was challenging whether or not there was actually "Street View" for Bermuda.. I did indeed misread.

    I may have misspoken, Simon. I know there's a full Google Maps satellite view of Bermuda- but I haven't checked about Street View in Bermuda..

    But what I know for sure is that - Google Maps free API can't find Bermuda via coordinates. Can't find Madrid Spain either...

    Purchased, installed, and removed, because it still crashes, at least with Dacal's Yahoo Weather Widget

    The touch works until you view the 5th day forecast, then it crashes
