I have developed a PhotoSync shell program that currently syncs photos to a dir on your Mac.

Right now it will copy any new files from the Camera Roll to a dir on your PC/Mac...

I am busy with school so development is going slow but I thought I would post it on here, as it may be useful to people even in its current state.

Right now unfortunately probably it will only be useful to people who are comfortable running programs from a shell on the iPhone via ssh (best way).

I originally meant it to run from Tapp but Tapp waits for scripts to exit before showing any output which is really not good for this kind of app..

Basically just download it to /private/var/root and then do this:

    ./PhotoSync --config

it will walk you through everything, including getting ssh key-based login working from your phone to your Mac.

then you just do ./PhotoSync and away it goes (if it works).. feel free to look at the code, and pls e-mail bug reports to skymonami[at]gmail[dot]com with the word BUG in the subject so I know what it's about.

    You can get it here:

http://www.aarlabs.com/svn/iphone/tapp/trunk/PhotoSync (right click and select 'save as')

more info on my blog here: http://blog.aarlabs.com/

I hope this is the right place for this kind of post.. it would be a lot more completed but i'm so very busy with school

Also, if anyone knows if/where the source to Tapp is around anywhere publicly on the net that would be awesome.

thanks.. maybe a gui config.. i haven't messed with any of the other app launchers yet.

The way I thought about it is that there's so many apps on the summerboard screen. What I like about Tapp is that you can have these things tucked away in there.
