    Foreword:
So after trying out at least three different methods to get my unlocked 1.0.2 iPhone working with 1.1.1, I finally got it running by combining different ways from various guides and from other helpful members.

Thanks to: ReVan, kengz, juanpa74, jackyk and idutch for your guides on here and on Hackint0sh.
Thanks to our members xp02ed and powa for your valuable tips when I got stuck!

    Here we go...

    You will need:
    A Windows operated PC (duh...)
    WiFi
    iTunes 7.4
    iPhone USB Cable
    About 30-60 minutes of patience

    Programs needed for the process:
    AnySIM 1.1p: http://iphone-elite.googlecode.com/f...nySIM-1.1p.rar
    CARNAVAL 0.4: http://www.modmyi.com/forums/downloa...o=file&id=1311
    iBrickr 0.91: http://ibrickr.com/downloads/ibrickr_v0.91.zip
    PACAY: http://www.linkhider.com/Txc5
    SaviousPack: http://www.sendspace.com/file/s8t3ne
    VirginizerPack: http://www.sendspace.com/file/x3fia5
    AppTapp Installer: http://www.nullriver.com/~adam/AppTappInstaller.exe
    WinSCP 4.0.5: http://winscp.net/download/winscp405setup.exe
    iPhone 1.0.2 Restore Firmware: http://appldnld.apple.com.edgesuite....8_Restore.ipsw

Keep these extracted ready for usage.

    Step 1: Downgrading from 1.1.1 to 1.0.2

1.0. (optional) If your is not running 1.1.1 already, upgrade to it. Do not worry about bricking your iPhone if it is unlocked.
1.1. Be sure to have the standard AT&T Sim card in the phone.
1.2. Connect your iPhone via USB to your PC and launch iTunes.
1.3. Get your phone into restore mode by holding the sleep button and the home button at once. After a little while you will hear the "USB disconnected" sound in Windows. Release the sleep button, but keep the home button pressed. A couple seconds later you will hear the USB connecting again, but keep the button down until you hear it disconnecting, then release it.
1.4. iTunes will give you a message telling you that the iPhone is in restore mode, just click that away, hold the shift key on your keyboard and select "Recover" in iTunes.
1.5. You will be prompted to select a recovery file, select the 1.0.2 Restore Firmware. After the process you will receive an error message, ignore it.
1.6. Leave itunes open and launch the AppTapp installer. Select the 1.0.2 Firmware and continue. Again you will receive an error telling you that it didn't complete, this is normal.
    1.7. Kill of iTunes.exe, iTuneshelper.exe and ipodService.exe with Ctrl+Alt+Del
1.8. Do the same process with AppTapp as before. this time it will complete successfully.
1.9. Go into the extracted PACAY folder and open “(CLICK HERE) activate.bat” and follow the instructions. Restart your phone when prompted.

Step 2: Setting BaseBand to 3.14 and resetting any previous unlocking procedures

    2.1. Open iTunes again.
2.2. On your iPhone, go to "Settings > General > Autolock" And set it to "Never".
2.3. Open iBrickr, select "Files" and go into the "usr/bin/" directory. Upload all files from the SaviousPack seperately.
2.4. Go back to the main menu in iBrickr and select "Applications" and follow the on screen instructions to install PXL.
2.5. Press "Browse Applications" and install "MobileTerminal VT100 vsvn161" and "BSD Subsystem v1.5" in this sequence.
2.6. When both are installed, open "Terminal" on your iPhone. Now the typing starts:

    Code:
    cd /usr/bin
    Code:
    launchctl unload -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist
RESTART YOUR IPHONE AND RESUME BACK TO TERMINAL

    Code:
    cd /usr/bin
    Code:
    chmod +x bbupdater
    Code:
    bbupdater -v
The BaseBand version should say 4.01

    Code:
    chmod +x ieraser
    Code:
    ieraser
Let the process complete until you see your cursor again. This may take a few moments. As of this moment the iPhone will react slower to your typing. Make sure everything is entered properly.

    Code:
    bbupdater -v
Check that it cannot find any BaseBand firmware.

    Code:
    bbupdater -e ICE03.14.08_G.eep -f ICE03.14.08_G.fls
At first it will seem as if nothing is budging, but leave this to run, it will take a couple minutes.

    Code:
    bbupdater -v
Check if you see the BaseBand firmware 3.14 installed.

    Code:
    launchctl load -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist
    RESTART YOUR IPHONE

    Step 3: Fixing up SecZone

3.1. Open iBrickr, select "Files" and create a new folder in "usr/bin/" called "virginizer_pack"
3.2. Copy all files from the virginizer_pack into there.
3.3. Open terminal on your iPhone:

    Code:
    cd /usr/bin/virginizer_pack
    Code:
    chmod +x virginator.sh
    Code:
    ./virginator.sh
Follow the instructions by selecting the first option (enter "1") at the first prompt, "2" at the second and type "yes" at every other option.
    3.4. Restart your iPhone

    Step 4: Upgrading to 1.1.1

This is the most complicated and risky part, take caution!

4.1. Open iBrickr, Applications, and uninstall BSD and MobileTerminal in this sequence by clicking on the red markers on the fake iPhone menu.
    4.2. Restart your iPhone.
    4.3. Pop open iTunes.
4.3. a) It will prompt you to upgrade to 1.1.1. Proceed.
4.3. b) If it tells you that you have to activate (meaning you cannot upgrade right now), Put your phone in restore mode as described in Step 1.3. Select "Restore" on iTunes, this time without holding Shift. It will now Restore your iPhone and upgrade it to 1.1.1.
4.4. Shut down iTunes completely, as instructed in Step 1.7. In the extracted CARNAVAL folder, open "(CLICK HERE) by brasuco.bat" and closely follow the instructions given. Within CARNAVAL, you will have to do these steps when told. I wrote them up in detail:
4.4.1. Slide to the emergency dial screen
4.4.2. Enter "*#307#" (without brackets) and then press call
4.4.3. Delete the "*#307#" and then press "0". After that, press the call button you are seeing and it will show you the answer/decline buttons. Click answer.
4.4.4. Press hold now and your phone will start ringing again
4.4.5. Press Dismiss. Will go into the contacts/dial screen
4.4.6. Press contacts from the bottom bar and add a contact
4.4.7. Add a contact with a random name and write in "Add new URL": prefs://1F
4.4.8. Add a second URL for that contact. Add the address as : http://jailbreak.toc2rta.com
4.4.9. Save it and click on the contact's FIRST homepage. This will take you straight into the setting menu of the iPhone, and you can take all the time to select a WiFi network.
4.4.10. Write down the IP address of the iPhone.
4.4.11. You will have to restart your iPhone four times when you are told to in the rest of the CARNAVAL procedure.

    Step 5: Activation

5.1. Open the Installer on your iPhone, upgrade it to 3.0 and install following applications in this order: "BSD Subsystem", "Community Sources", "OpenSSH". the latter you will only be able to see if you have installed the Community Sources App.
5.2. Open WinSCP. Enter the iPhone IP in the Host Name field, "root" in the User Name field, and "alpine" in the Password field. Select SCP as file protocol.
5.3. Go to the root folder of your iPhone (double clicking twice on the ".." in the right window of WinSCP). Drag the "anySIM.app" folder from the extracted anySIM rar file into the "Applications" folder on the iPhone.
5.4. Opne the "Applications" folder, right click on the "anySIM.app" folder and select properties. in the permissions section, enter "0755" in the Octal field and save. Go into the anySIM folder and do the same to the "anySIM" file.
    5.5. Restart your phone.
5.6. Replace the AT&T SIM card with the one of your choice.
5.7. Open anySIM on the iPhone and procede.
    5.8. Restart.
5.9. Open WinSCP again, connect to your iphone (Step 4.6), go into the Applications folder and delete the anySIM folder.
    5.10. Restart.

You have successfully unlocked and activated your 1.1.1 iPhone!!!

    Fixes since release:
    -Step 4.3: Added options a) and b)
-Step 3.3: Removed space between "./virginator.sh"
-Step 4.4: Added the whole WiFi setup within the CARNAVAL procedure
    -Step 4.0: Added warning

I've been looking for a guide like this one everywhere, thank you so much!

If I already have 1.0.2 running, can I skip Step 1 altogether?

If I do this, will all my contacts, e-mails, music be gone?

    Thank you again!

I haven't tried to skip Step 1 if you already have it on 1.0.2... mostly for the fact to be on the safe side. But you are more than welcome to share your experiences with us

    ./bbupdater -f ./ICE03.14.08_G.fls -e ./ICE03.14.08_G.eep

and hit enter, it'll act like nothing's happening...just be patient...

Ok, right now I am upgrading to 1.1.1......standby

Ok, I got stuck at step 4.3 - it's asking to activate, so i'm proceeding with step 4.3....

Ok, it's still asking me to activate....so now I have NO clue what to do....

I can't get it to do a god damn thing...i'm going to bed...i have to work tomorrow....i'll take it to work and **** with it there....it's still stuck on the ******* activation screen.....

ok... well then.. what you want to do is.. do step 1.3 in the tutorial and hit restore. You should get the yellow triangle. Then hit shift and restore to 1.0.2 and start over.

WOW! FINALLY! Of all of the guides I have looked through and done. This one actually worked! But in Step 4, when you set up your wifi. Just type in safari jailbreakme.com so much easier! That's what i did and it does everything in about 10 seconds. Thanks for the guide!

    Its 100% working..

If you have bricked your iphone and if you can see the USB plug and itunes logo on your phone.

Then open ibrickr and boot the phone using ibrickr. You will find an option to boot the phone in normal mode.

    it works for me.
the thing is when you type the code
    ./virginator.sh
there shouldn't have space between "/" and "v"
try avoid space in this line then you should be fine...
now i'm happy with my 1.1.1 UNLOCKED.
