my iphone is orignally otb 1.1.2 and i just recently updated to 1.1.4 threw itunes and then jailbroke and unlocked with ziphone. I was just wondering if it is possible to downgrade back to 1.1.2? would i just download the 1.1.2 software to my computer and then do shift restore in itunes? also would that method put me back on my original bootloader? and does anybody have a guide to the old *#307# way of jailbreaking method?

You can put your phone in DFU restore mode and shift+restore to 1.1.2. If you get error 1015 from iTunes after that use iBrickr to boot phone normally. Just out of curiosity why would you want to do all that? 1.1.4 is by far the best and most stable with regard to apps, modding, and hacking.

Yeah, I would stay at 1.1.4, i still have no clue why i see people in the forums saying they are having problems with their 1.1.2 iphones, when the answer is upgrade....

of course, thats not the case you're in.

Will this method downgrade my bootloader back to its original version? and to answer your question, back when i was on 1.1.2 i had no complantes, now that im on 1.1.4 i cant get the customize app to work, my edge seems slower, and in order to get my stocks to update i have to first go on safari and open a page and then go to my stocks. Thats why i want to go back to 1.1.2
