    Hello all!

This was probably asked a million times and I apologize in advance if it is a repetitive question (I did a search but no real clear answers were found)

I bought my Iphone in November and it had version 1.1.2 on it- I know that I have to downgrade to 1.1.1 in order to install 3rd party apps- but I was wondering if I will lose any information on my phone by doing that- information such as- Text Messages, Songs, Ringtones, Email Settings and such.
If I will lose that information, is there anyway I can save the text messages? (Can I import them to Itunes somehow? I know one of the obvious answers is going to be "forward them to your email" but just wondering if there is an alternative way)

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks in advance!

When you update you tend to lose everything

You should be able to save ringtones and other files by ssh them to an external source (possibly with the help of independence?)

Just hit sync before you do everything and you'll be fine.
Ringtones if they were bought on iTunes your fine just sync them back on. If not just copy them somewhere else for the time being to be safe.
