The wiki guides and information out there for upgrading a jailbroken unlocked 1.1.1 phone up to 1.1.2 all assume that 1.1.2 is the latest. As of today, there is now a 1.1.3 update on iTunes and it wont update to 1.1.2 via any method i can see... If I use option-click on the update button, it asks for a file, but I can't find the 1.1.2 update on Apple's download site.

Any ideas? I've octoprep'ed in order to update to 1.1.2, but without the image from Apple, I'm not going to be able to proceed...

is it just hidden somewhere on their support site?

Hello Deinos... what you should do is download the 1.1.2 firmware pack and in itunes use the option button (if using mac) or shift (windows) and select update. On the update window you select that fw 1.1.2 that you downloaded. But be careful, if you want to be able to jailbreak it later, follow the 1.1.2 jailbreaking instructions, DOWNLOAD OkToPrep (in installer - tweaks 1.1.1 section) BEFORE UPGRADING!

    Good luck.

This doesnt work. We get an error in the update. This is because there is only a RESTORE pack available. If we have another pack (thats not the restore please point us towards it!)

I just finished using the instructions here:

    http://www.everythingicafe.com/forum...one-18919.html

And near the end when you "upgrade" to 1.1.2 I used the restore version of the 1.1.2 firmware file and it worked fine.

There was something wrong with my phone during the last post. The file is the same, there was some syncing confusion with my old back-up info and the "new fresh" install. It does in fact allow you to just use the restore file to install as well.
