    My question will probably sound stupid to some of the experts here,
    But is it possible to Jailbreak and Unlock an IPhone with an "Old" IMAC Power PC G5 ???
    I already succesfully done the procedure on an IMAC Intel at friend's.
    Today I want to do that for another IPhone using my "Old" IMAC G5

    Congrats to all off you helping bringing freedom in this cruel world...

    sure can... some of the original apps were Intel only.

    you'll need the latest JAVA for the jailbreak.jar

    I jailbreak on a G5!

    Hello, don't think it will be any problem ; instead of using the jailbreak.jar method, you can also use independence to jailbreak it; there is a version for use with itunes 7.5 and a beta for ituns 7.6

    With this running and the above mentioned java-version, you should be safe..

    I am running an iMac 20" 1.8 PowerPC G5 with osX10.4.11 and did mine. I have not had any problem at all.
