I used the devteam installer version jb and it still occupied around 186mb after completion. It would be great to know what it is and how to get rid of it.....

It seems that iTunes 7.6 is confused and sees that there is around 180 MB of space that is in use and labeled as "Other", when there is not. In another thread about this topic someone has filled the iphone with data and SSH'ed into it to find that there is still around 180 MB of free space. I have also heard that legit 1.1.3 iPhones are having the same problem. I plan on putting iTunes 7.5 onto my mac to see if i can sync my 1.1.3 phone and see if the problem persists. Obviously the problem is a combinaion of both iTunes 7.6 AND the new 1.1.3 firmware, because this was not a problem in iTunes 7.6 with jailbroken 1.1.2 phones.
