    can anyone help me out? since updating and jailbreak 1.1.3 I can no longer ssh into my phone. I get connection failed everytime.
    Yes SSH is turned on in services
    yes I have the correct IP
    and yes I am using root/alpine port 22

    I had the same problem, not a big help, but wanted you to know you aren't alone. Got the new 16gb though, so I'll see how it goes on that one.

    All you need to do is connect to a reliable wfi connection and using the Installer.app, reinstall the BSD Subsystem. The 1.1.3 softupdate/jailbreak breaks this. After this, you should be home free.
    Yeah, weird huh, that it regularly does not need the BSD Subsystem to get the jailbreak to work but for 1.1.3 it does...? That's just how these things go.

    Are you signing in as root or mobile? The passwords have likely been changed with the 1.1.3 upgrade, but I'm not sure what they would now be. Maybe someone whose upgraded can tell you.

    Ya, with the upcoming introduction of legit third party apps, programs are now run under the user id "mobile" instead of root.
