I want to upgrade my 1.1.1 iPhone to 1.1.3, but before getting to it I'd like to know exactly how to do it. I haven't read too much about it but to me it seems like I have to upgrade to 1.1.2 first, and then 1.1.3 and use anySIM 1.1.3 to unlock, but what about jailbreaking?

    What I have:
iPhone with 1.1.1 Firmware, originally 1.1.1 which I downgraded to 1.0.2, used CARNAVAL (or so) to jailberak, upgraded to 1.1.1, and unlocked with anySIM 1.1.

So what applications do I need to jailbreak 1.1.2, and then 1.1.3, assuming I'll use anySIM 1.3 to unlock it finally? Does the version of iTunes I use matter?

    edit: I use Windows XP.

To get to an unlocked 1.1.2, you have to run OktoPrep (under 1.1.1 Tweaks in Installer) and then shift-click (or whatever the equivalent is for a Mac) the Upgrade button in iTunes and select the 1.1.2 firmware file. After that, you need the 1.1.2 Jailbreak package, which you can find at:

Open windows.bat if you're a windows user, or just run jailbreak.jar if you're a Mac user. Then just click Jailbreak, and it will re-flash and jailbreak your 1.1.2 phone. After that, there are a variety of ways to get to 1.1.3 jailbroken. I used the DevTeam method, which is simply available on Installer. It takes a good long while (and you will need WiFi for downloading the huge firmware file during the jailbreak process), but works flawlessly. I haven't actually unlocked the phone; just jailbroken it, but I assume the next step is then to go with anySim 1.1.3 to unlock the phone. Somebody else can correct me if I'm wrong. sounds about right to me. Good summary. i also think you should check what bootloader you are.

Anyone know if i upgrade my 1.1.1 (originally 1.0.2) to 1.1.3, will my baseband also upgrade?
