So I upgraded to jailbroken 2.2.1 and then I went to cydia, it asked me what type of user I am, I chose, and then it just backed out to the main screen.

So I installed BSD Subsystem & OpenSSH and SSH'd into my iphone and then changed the permissions of the app itself to 7777.

So I restarted the iPhone, and went to Cydia and it still doesn't work.

    Any tips?

    Rep will be given

I'll try changing the permissions to 0755 but keep in mind I've tried getting into cydia about 20 times now.

Also, every time I go to cydia it asks me what type of user I am, and I've tried all types and none work so I don't know.

Edit: Ok, so I've changed the permissions back to 0755 and it didn't work.

just ssh in and delete it

    in installer add source: http://apptapp.saurik.com/

    under system install cydia installer

That's actually what I tried to do but that source does not work.

    I'm not sure if it's yours but I've seen http://apptapp.saurik.com/ and http://apptap.saurik.com/

    Neither one work.
