    But winterboard lite is working, black navigation bars are working, I cant download themes from icy.

    You can enable MMS on beta 5 EVEN if you restored your iPhone (clean install... :-)) and ALSO using iTunes pre-release 8.2.0.13 (that came with beta 5).

    How?

    Just restore your iPhone using iTunes 8.2.0.13 and set it up as a new phone (just to be sure that you have a pure and clean install - later you can restore your backup - that you DID do before restoring, yes?)

    Then, open Settings->General->Network->Celluar Data Network
    There you must fill in the correct values for MMS (APN, Username, Password, MMSC and MMS Proxy) for YOUR provider.

    RESTART iPhone and your MMS is working!!
    (Settings->Messages)

    So we don't have to call AT&T? What settings do I need to enter if that's the case?

    ^^ No, I have not seen or heard anything from them at all. I just pm'ed my contact and he said not yet. I doubt it. They like to test it on a dozen phones, for a couple days before releasing.

    I did notice that, with beta 4 and beta 5, when using Total Commander with the T-PoT plugin, I can only access /var/mobile/Media instead of being able to access anything...

    Tethering worked fine for me earlier today through Bluetooth. In fact, it now asks you whether or not you want to tether via USB or Bluetooth:

    At least I think that that is new...maybe not?

    I just updated to beta 5. I assume everything got updated. I don't understand. Do I need to manually update carrier settings?

    Yes. You need to add sealth updated icpp posted on page 1. If you haven't you might not be able to if you have already updated to the latest iTunes.

    I've read all these posts about how the newest iTunes "patches the option/shift + update button" and how it messes up stuff for the iPhone, but if I only have an iTouch, is there any reason I shouldn't update iTunes?

    I am amazed how much quicker Safari App is in beta 5! Memory Leak has been fixxed, I had 10 Tabs open and no slowdown whatsoever! Still no SFX on Need for Speed Undercover though :-(
