EDIT: FIXED ,I CAN GO INTO DFU MODE, HOWEVER ,MY IPHONE STILLS GOES TO RECOVERY MODE AFTER I RESTORE.

When I try to put my iPhone into DFU mode, i Do the following:

    1) Connect iPhone (2G) to iTunes (8.1)
    2) Hold power and home buttons for 10 seconds, immediately after it turns off, I start holding the home button.

    Here's where the problem is.

When I hold both the power n home button and it turns off, its not detected by itunes anymore, then when I start holding the home button w/o the power, itunes doesn't detect it anymore. Suggestions?

    Can't see your pics

    INSTRUCTIONS
    Step 1. Turn off iPhone

Step 2. Hold down the power and home button.

Step 3. When you see the Apple logo, release the power button but continue holding the home button down.

Step 4. Open iTunes and wait for it to tell you that it’s in restore mode.

    Alternative Method:

Step 1. Connect iPhone to USB then listen to the sound when it connect and disconnect.

Step 2. Hold the home and power buttons until hear the disconnect sound then release power button.

Step 3. Wait until you hear another sound then release home button.
