So i recently exchanged my iphone 3g for the iphone 3gs. I probably should have researched on here a little before i did so, anyways.. after reading about the jailbreak problems with 3.1.3... i am curious:

i used forecast to grab the following information on my new phone:

    Bsaeband: 05.12.01
'so im guessing i have the new one that i read had problems.

Can i still jailbreak with snowbreeze? Im confused which phones cant be jailbroke - or what happens?

Can this model be jailbroken, will i still have service?

I downloaded the firmwares 3.1.3 and 3.1.2 - and redsnow and snowbreeze.. just wondering what i am supposed to use... i never got a clear answer by reading the stickies etc...

any one have advice - or can show me to a link?

    thanks a ton

It is ok, calm down. There will be a jailbreak for it hopefully soon (Of course nobody knows when for sure). I guess in the mean time you could use the 3G for now.

The 3G[s] is leagues better than the 3G was....you gotta do the research first. It'll happen eventually.
