    Hi guys

    Newbie here.

I've got myself a new iphone a few months ago and have now decided to see if I can jailbreak it. The phone came with OS 3.1.3 and I've managed to check the bootrom version 359.3.2.

Does this mean that I can jailbreak my phone.

I think I'm just confusing myself more the more I read.

If I can jb it, what would I need. I keep reading loads of different ways for different models so I thought the best way to be sure would to be to ask more experienced people here.

Spirit will jailbreak that. Go to Spirit download the version relevant for your os, close iTunes (if it's open), plug in phone and press jailbreak. Voila.

    Just to Note:

Be sure your doing this on itunes 9.1.1

If on iTunes 9.2 you can google for the version fixed for iTunes 9.2.

Just plug it into iTunes and hit restore, that'll clear any jb data

It will restore it to 4.0, so don't so that unless you are totally stuck.
