Ok, and how are you accessing your springboard after you restore. You said you run an app/program on your phone so you can access your springboard? Sorry for all these questions, I'm trying to figure out if it can be forced to restore all the way. I've actually managed to restore my phone and jb by fluke before, sometimes the traditional ways don't do the trick.

This is what i see in these menus as well.

Also the way i access the SB is with redsn0w_win_0.9.6b2 and the iTunes logo before the SB i use "iREB-4.0.x-4.1"

It's weird cuz when I first got my iPhone 4, just for kicks I thought I'd try to restore to 4.0.1 cuz I was on 4.0.2 and wanted to jb. I knew I didn't have SHSHs but I tried anyway. I got error 1002 when I ran TinyUmbrella's TSS server, when I didn't run the server it gave me error 3194 (expected of course). I just think it's weird that I got 1002 with the TSS server running...

I'm trying to figure out what the connection is cuz I don't have a hardware failure. Like Yeow said before, did you ever mess with your host file? You're not running the TSS server while you're restoring either, right?

Nope, none of that. Should I try Shift+Restore with that file u told me to download now?

Do you have the old bootrom? If you do, consider restoring and running Limera1n on it. Then shift+restore to a custom fw you can create with Sn0wbreeze. If you have a Mac, you can use PwnageTool, even with the new bootrom. It seems the stock firmwares aren't working, and you have yet to try a custom fw.

I'm sorry, I really think it is a hardware issue. I've seen others who have had error 1002 and same symptoms, no wifi or bluetooth. It's hard to say, but you might have to get a new phone as we've exhausted many options. I don't know if anybody else has anything else to try, but I'm stumped.

I hope sometime later someone else could give their opinion on this as well.

Heres the log from the 1002 error. http://pastebin.com/5ZJ2zjm6

OK try this. This should solve your problem. Hook your iPhone to the computer. Next power off your iPhone. When completely off hold the power but for two sec then quickly push the home button while still holding the power button for 10 sec. Release the power button and after 10 to 15 sec while still holding down the home button you should see on your computer iPhone device is connected. Now iTunes will tell you that your iPhone is in recovery mode and you need to restore. Select the restore button and you should be able to restore to normal. If not then I'm puzzled and would like to know the cure.

How about resetting the network settings or wiping the whole phone and starting again once you get to the springboard?

What version of jailbreak did you use? Lime or Pision? The WiFi issue brings back some bad memories when Ra1n came out.
