Today i'm going to show you how you can Downgrade your iPhone 2G to iOS 1.1.1 or 1.0

You will need Windows XP and iTunes,

You would need to put the iPhone in DFU mode then open iTunes hold down Shift+Command and find your Firmware 1.1.1, Then Click Restore.

Now it should be Restoring to iOS 1.1.1

You will get a Error "1053"
You will now need to Download "iBrickr 0.91" to kick it out of Recovery Mode.

Now your running "IOS 1.1.1" to Unlock/Activation it, Download iDemocracy 3.0

Thank You, Have a nice Day

P.S. Don't forget to click the Thank You Button.

I might have to try this. We had a thread about this a little while ago and no one could get it back further than 2.0.

Also the thanks button isnt working on first posts in a thread, otherwise I would press it

After all that time and trouble that was the solution? I figured the right environment would make it work, but damn!

Now you have two hurdles, one is to figure out how to downgrade to 1.1.1 and one is to setup Vmware correctly..
