Alright, so i have a jailbroken iphone 4 running ios 5.0. It is jailbroken with redsnow 0.9.10b3 with a tethered jailbreak. I needed to replace my screen so i turned the phone off, ejected my sim and replaced everything. I've done this a million times, just never with a phone that was running a tether jailbreak. I get everything back together and go to power it on, and i remember that it must be tether booted. So i go through the procedure (that i've done about 15x times) and not it wont enter DFU mode! I have tried it multiple times, but the clock runs down and it says that i must have misunderstood the steps. I have done this MANY times so i know that im not messing up on the steps. Has anyone else experience this after replacing the screen on your phone with a tether jailbreak? Do i need to restore it?
