    Hi all,

    I've got an iPhone 4 on baseband 04.11.08 and its currently jailbroken and unlocked on iOS5. Now that the untethered iOS6 jailbreak is out for iPhone 3gs/4, is it possible to use it on this phone? The reason I ask is that the baseband seems to be one that people had problems with on iOS5 earlier in the year.

    If it's possible, am I correct in thinking you follow the standard process of upgrading to iOS 6 via itunes then running redsn0w 0.9.15b3, followed by ultrasn0w?

    Cheers

    Hmm, are you sure? According to the iPhone Dev Team blog, the iPhone 4 does have an untethered jailbreak for iOS6. See red line in the screenshot attached.

    I know it says "ALL" but I just wanted to make sure that ultrasn0w would still be able to activate the phone after its jailbroken.

    Read the line above what you highlighted.
    Hacktivation != jailbreak.

    What's Hacktivation then? Does it mean you can get it activated, but not jailbroken? If so, that's all I'm after.
