I have an iphone 5 which actually has never been jailbroken.

When I got it I restored via a backup of an old iphone 4 of mine that had previously been jailbroken, then I removed the jailbreak.

Somehow, the numeric wifi transfered to my unjailbroken iphone 5. I can't get rid of it!
I even just upgraded to beta iOS 7 (which is awesome!), but the numeric wifi tagged along!

Anyone know of a fix for this? Im thinking I'll eventually have to jailbreak, install sbsetting, then uninstall... but this is going to be tough with iOS 7, and I really dont want to jailbreak this phone.

Also, will this void applecare? I didnt actually jailbreak the phone.. I hope I am still good!

You're pretty much stuck with it unless you jailbreak and turn the numeric wifi setting off. I've never had this kind of issue before, but you no longer have root access, so there's really no way to change it unless you jailbreak it again.

You could restore the device again but do not restore from back up just set up as a new phone
