As titled, trying to clarify my thought.

iOS 7 jailbreak is available, but can't really use it due unsupported Mobile Substrate as it is for iOS6.

I am still on iOS6.1.4 on my iphone 5 waiting for jailbreak.

(Mobile Substrate is being worked on extensively and should be out within a day or 4.)

Wait too long and Apple releases 7.0.5 with patches and quits signing 7.0.4. That was my reasoning for grabbing it when I could. My 4s works fine with the JB and there are a few tweaks already that work: HiddenSettings7, Lock Screen Tool, SwitchSpring, TetherMe.

If you have a 5s, nothing needing MobileSubstrate will work, FYI

so it would be wise to update to 7.0.4 and jailbreak it anyway? Since nothing is working anyway?

I'd also say yes in case this is the last jailbreak we see before 7.1 is released and the exploit is closed possible.

Yes. If it turns out that it isn't stable or you just can't deal with any issues that come up, you can always go back to 7.0.4 in the near term. If Apple does toss out 7.0.5, then you will most likely be locked out of a JB, especially since GeoHot already reverse engineered the latest evasion, you can be sure that Apple has also and the vulnerabilities will be plugged soon.
