I have soooo many tweaks on my 5S right now, and it would take hours to re-download everything if I upgrade. Reading about the security flaw is alarming, and I feel like Ryan Petrich's patch is not good enough. Even pod2g recommends upgrading. If there is any way to salvage my device, please let me know. Thanks.

That seems like a great option! However, I don't have the $10 to spend on this tweak. It seems like an essential purchase, but it just doesn't seem likely. Maybe any cheaper options? Or free?

Excuse me .. for those of you who still use your iOS iOS versions below 7.0.6, you should be careful when connected to a wifi network, such as campuses, schools, parks etc.. HTTPS is not the reason for protecting the identity and privacy for 1 year. However, if you are already on iOS 7.0.6 this problem will be resolved.

OpenBackup might help. It's not as thorough as PKGBackup, but it's free. I used it on all my older devices. I haven't tried it on my 5S, but looks like it's working. I purchased PKGBackup just for this update. We'll worth the $10 just for the time savings. Hope this helps.
