    Hello,

I used "iDeleteMail" to delete my mails in Mobile Mail as usual, but today the spinning circle wonīt stop.

So I pressed for 6 seconds the home button to kill the app, but the iphone freeze. Then I tried to reset the iphone, but now it wonīt start up and show only the spinning circle at the apple logo.

Connection via ssh or afpd is no problem, but I donīt know what to do now to fix springboard. Or Mobile Mail? Or the filesystem?

    Syncing with iTunes is possible.

    Please help me!

    Birke

could always just do a restore. I would try to delete the ideletemail app and then rebooting it first. There may be an error in its programming that it is stuck at.

I donīt want to restore the iphone.

I tried to delete mobile mail but it isnīt possible, because the finder tells me, that the app is in use.

iDeleteMail is already deleted via the finder.

Sorry, but the only way I've gotten the spinner to go away is by restoring.
    Once it's there, it's there.

I suppose at least it's nice to know you haven't totally broken your phone

Take the opportunity to get your iPhone exchanged in Apple store.
