I was trying to delete weTool through SSH (putty.exe) because it kept crashing.. I made a CARELESS mistake when typing the command:

    rm -rf /Applications

I didn't include the backslash... and thus it deleted the Applications folder!
I don't know what to do now.. PLEASE HELP.. is there a way to restore the deleted foldeR ?!

    Many thanks in advance.

    congrats! You've destroyed your iPhone!

the only thing you can do is a restore in iTunes, or place the apps back on the iPhone from your backups (not as easy as it sounds!!!) -- with free itunes under the puppy!
If I help you out, please press THANKS!

Haha... I love it when people just SSH into their phone and start going to town! I can't tell you how many first time posts have to do with SSH stuff and deleting files, and replacing plists.. etc. Consider me entertained...
