    Hey everyone,

This is a paranoid and noob question, I realize, but here goes:

I unlocked my iphone, and my older version of itunes had a box that i unchecked: "automatically check for updates"

Now I updated my itunes, and the option is gone. It simply says it will check for a new update on ___ date.

So, I'm a little paranoid. I assume when new firmware is released, it will always ask me if I want to proceed with an update before just doing it automatically, right?

    Thank ya'll,

It will always CHECK for updates but then it will notify you if one is available and get your permission to download and install it first.
