you're being a d-bag....it's running on osx mobile already. think about it.....leopard is close to 7gb....if you install it on a iphone that has 2 partition....you'll barely have any space for anything.......plus leopard wasn't created for phone.

this isn't the farthest thing from possible and i think you two are both being a bit irrational. not a full 7gb leopard install, but a slimmed down version of the standard os, with a dock, desktop, etc, not the current modified osx mobile. which i thought was assumed, but i guess clarification was needed.

"a slimmed down version of the standard os, with a dock, desktop, etc" is technically osx mobile on the iphone.

What particular features of OSX do you think are missing from the iphone OS?

i guess the physical layout of it. like, a touch version of a stripped down tiger.
i mean, do you think we will ever potentially get to this point?

Ummmm. No. The screen would have to be twice the size to make it usable

Considering that the full version of Leopard requires an 867Mhz processor or better, and 512Mb RAM, neither of which the iPhone has, this seems very unlikely. Not to mention recompiling all the apps to run on the ARM processor, etc, etc.

Apple will be coming out with a computer tablet soon enough. Keep your panties on and have some patience.
Get "iPod & iTunes for Dummies", it'll change your life.

Apparently a lot of people don't understand the words "ARM processor" and they keep pointing to "It'll fit on there!!!***XORZ!"

Do some research on processors and you'll know why cash = LOLERZ @ this thread.
