    sorry ive been using the old iphone for a long time, its a really good phone, i just use it for music and phone, but Tmobile doesnt even have 3g as im aware, so is it even worth getting?

    As far as I'm aware, they have yet to unlock the 3G iPhone, so it can't be used on T Mobile

    ^^ This is correct, 3G CANNOT be unlocked at the moment, so this phone would be useless to you.

    i would say yes even tho you cant use 3g i still love my 3g and btw it can be unlocked using tmobile,you have to use a sim adapter aka turbo sim

    i am using turbo sim on tmobile with my 3g 16 gig

    its a nicer package than the original iphone in my opinion. get it if you want buts its up to you. i would say yes and use them both =]

    one advantage of buying it here in nz is that its fully unlocked so i can use it back home in europe... only problem is the damn thing costs $1000 nzd without contract

    I think its worth it for the better battery life, only disadvantage is that when tmobile's 3G network is up, the 3G on the iPhone is not going to be compatible with tmobiles 3G due to different frequencies...
