I recently downgraded my iPhone 3g to 2.1 from 2.2.1... it simply was a mess: too many dropped calls, too many signal fluctuations.... the firmware simply wasnt there.

My iPhone is jailbroken and now works like a charm with the old 2.1 firmware.

Now, I tried to restore all the apps and surprise! I cant install the new Facebook 2.2 (as well as a couple other apps).
Is there a way to install this app in the old firmware or is there a way to find the 2.1 version anywhere?

    Many thanks!

You could always fake the firmware version. It's in some plist somewhere, but I don't remember where. I'm sure someone will know, and you can find it with a quick search.
If you like or found helpful anything I have said, please click that nice little Thanks button!
