    I have a 3g iphone firmware 2.2.1.
I understand that at this point I can't unlock it via software.

So, knowing that Singtel's Iphone 3g is unlock, can I restore my US iphone 3g with Singtel's 2.2.1 firmware?
Will my phone be unlocked if I install their firmware?
Where can I get Singtel's firmware?

    Thank you

Since "APPLE" is the only company that actually makes an iPhone I fear you are talking about a clone which means there is no support for those and it is in no way shape or form going to accept different firmwares.

SingTel - Asia's Leading Communications Group

Singtel sell the iPhone, and i presume they sell it unlocked.

To the OP, EVERY iPhone in the world uses the same firmware. Singtel do not have special firmware which unlocks their iPhones - they are hardware unlocked during manufacture.

If your at 2.2.1 and the baseband downgrader does not work for you then you are out of luck im afraid
