    Don't know if this is the right place for this. I don't know where to post this. I'm using windows vista.

    I'm using iTunes 9. Whenever I try to connect to the iTunes music store I get a message that says: "iTunes could not connect to the iTunes music store. Make sure you're network connection is active and try again". Then blank screen.

    Same thing happens when I connect my iPhone 3G to my computer. I can't sync my iphone to iTunes because of this. What's the use of having a stupid iPhone if I can't put any music, movies, vidoes, photos or anything else on it. (Sorry, just had to rant, frustrated).

    I have McAfee Anti-Virus Software. I've checked the firewall settings. It's giving iTunes full access to the internet. What could be the problem? Can someone please help me or direct me to the answer somewhere?

    try uninstall itunes completely...then go to apple.com and re-download it.
