Howdy, everyone! Recently I've been using Activator and the Status Bar to do most of my home button/sleep button presses. This isn't because my buttons are malfunctioning—I just like the feel of using the touchscreen. What I was wondering is: Is there a way to wake up (get to lockscreen) the iphone without pressing the home button/sleep button? Like a tap-to-wake sort of thing?
I've been poking around, but I haven't found anything standalone that does this. Suggestions? This isn't a major problem, just something I'd appreciate. Thanks so much!

That would be a huge battery drainer there. You'd have to have the listener on constantly and I'm not sure if that's even possible.

Battery drain is a no brainer. Remember being able to get your phone to respond to a voice command as activation? The phone WAS listening all the time for a key word. Ate battery like crazy, but worked. This idea actually requires physical intervention. Tapping the screen to wake up. Been around for a while, just not on Apple.
