mobile substrate got new update which should be workin with 5.0b1 give it a try
Does this mean that tweaks such as activator should be working? Or was that the tweak and not mobile substrate?

JB'ing iOS 5 beta=worthless. the beta is loaded with bugs and glitches on its own. trying to deal with JB failures on top of that is just asking for boat loads of trouble. I can see why its dev's only with this type of stuff lol. unless you REALLY know what your doing, your just gonna end up like me. lots of restores, crashes, and very inconvenient bricking of your iPhone while your at the gym making plans for the evening with people.

I have not had much trouble with jailbreak side of things. It's iOS 5 beta itself that is buggy. I would never put this kind of a beta on my main phone. But I have a backup 3GS and it is working rather well. I would probably not even want to do it if it was not for jailbreak. There is more happening in the jailbreak camp, particularly with new notification center widgets and whatnot, than from "official" sources.

If it wasn't for people out there running and reporting back on this stuff NOW, you would be waiting a heck of a lot longer for stable jb's when iOS 5 is officially released.

For those of you who can't SSH into your device (idiots) download iPhoneexplorer or ifunbox. Just Google them. Psh.

Nice first post. Answering a question that no one seems to have asked and calling them 'idiots' - presumably for not asking the question?
He who asks a question looks foolish for 5 minutes. He who doesn't ask a question remains foolish forever.

Ha. Sorry. I wasn't trying to be mean about it. I ment it would be easier to delete the 2 winterboard files. After I deleted them, my resizing issue was fixed. I'm hoping the iOS 5 compatibility list is extended soon. I've tried several tweaks (before the thread) and I have restored 7 times now. All of the tweaks I tried were on the "not compatible" part of the thread. Oh, and that was my first post on THIS account.

As far as I know, iOS 5 beta is incredibly buggy on the performance side. However, I spent several hours renaming theme files in winterboard and they seem to be working. Not all of them, but most of them.

    Great list btw!

I am not a dev and couldn't develop anything if my life depended on it. But I am savvy enough to know how to restore while tethered now and then. I figure I am doing my part to help people know what is buggy, what works and what doesn't work. It's my only way to help out and to be honest I'm loving the new iOS and have had hardly any problems with it when sticking to what has been proven to work. It's when I venture out to test other tweaks that it can get a little hairy, but what so hard about restoring while tethered? Just don't mess with it while your out and about and the thing works great. Best iOS yet even though it's still a beta.

UISettings doesn't seem to work in beta 2.
Doesn't even show up as an option in notification settings.

    Five Icon Dock still works.
That's all I've tested thus far.

No, qwertyoruiop decided to stop doing iPhone stuff and has taken the repo down and officially killed UISettings.
There is an alternative called power center from the repo:

I don't like it as much, but it's what we have now.
