So i've had this 3 (NOT a 3gs) for a while, and I heard that iOS isn't going to be on the 3's. So I'm buying a 4. But my main question is when I do, how will I get all my jailbroken apps on there? Will I be able to back up my current phone and restore the new one jailbroken with everything on there? I have a lot of cydia apps and stuff too. Is there a way to transfer all that to the new one?

Also, will the new 4 i'm getting come with 4.3.4? If it does, how do I downgrade it so I can jailbreak it?

An old 3? Or better said 3G.

Use iTunes for apps / music. For the jailbroken/Cydia stuff best to start fresh. Install what you need or want. Many apps have been updated, most changed. Some did not make it to iOS 4 or the iPhone 4.

You need SHSH blobs to load older iOS versions. Unavailable with a new phone.

So I should just back up my phone and restore the new one with it for all the normal apps?

It's best to set-as a new phone and use iTunes sync to add music / apps / etc. It's close to the way it was, but you need to rearrange the icons, add weather locations, stock quotes, web clips and small stuff like that.

If your iphone comes with 4.3.4, you are not totally screwed, you can still get a tethered jailbreak.

Wonder if you can get 4.1 SHSH blobs?

Strange as it seams, I was able to get 4.1 ''from Apple'' for both a 3G and a 3GS about two hours ago
