    Hi
I have a question. If I install cydia tweaks will the ram reduce?
    for example:
-gridlock (place icon anywhere in springboard)
    -safari download manager
-voiceactivator (add commands to voice control)
    -page renamer
    -icon renamer
-infinite dock (Infinite apps in dock)
In other words, after i install and configure these tweaks and when all the apps in background in iOS is closed, will my ram have decreased compared to before the tweaks were installed?

I think that they do, how they affect your device depends on what device (processor speed) and what mods they are. My old 3G runs on 4.2.1 and is Jailbroken on BB 06.15.

Because of the IOS 4.2.1 the 3G was very laggy the jailbrake made it a bit slower

I noticed when I unJailbroke my 3GS there was a increase in available RAM, but because of the faster processor I never noticed a significant slow down in applications.
So you will lose RAM, but it's affects depend on what features you use

On my 3GS, I have like 88 MB available RAM. Sometimes I get more than 110 MB. One way to free RAM is to remove some LaunchDaemons that start up with the iPhone.

Yes removing launch daemons will free RAM. But do make sure you don't over do it, ESP on BB 0.6.15.00 or you will restoring on a custom file this happened to me on a 3G. And a 3GS shouldnt need speeding up anyways. The easiest way to do it is using a programme like iPhone explorer, I've even unJailbroke devices using simply removing the cydia file. While you in there you could also remove the foreign languages that you don't use, and any stock applications.

Tha really doesnt unjailbreak it since you still have root access

Sure tweaks reduce available ram because most dylibs that link and expand Springboard. With the hundreds/thousands of tweaks available, it's easy to overload any iPhone.

    +1
But depends on what your running gridlock only is taking ram when activated to move icons. But infinite dock is always running so it is constantly using ram

When you reboot, the iPhone will be unjailbroken and you won't have root file access

Str4y is correct. Root access remains. Removing Cydia does not unjailbrake, it simply removes the visible springboard icon (Cydia) and the ability to install third party apps via Cydia. In addition, unless explicitly uninstalled, apps and tweaks previously installed by Cydia remain.

The only 100% guaranteed method to unjailbreak is with a restore.

Well I never! I do stand corrected, and I concede I updated after removing cydia. Where I got confused was when I rebooted cydia disappeared

I tried now using iPhone explorer and all I get is a basic directory list.

I can't understand Apple sometimes with Blackberrys you can do what you want within reason. And the OS are easily accessed. Maybe Apple are just very fussy what happens to their devices?

Yah if you remove launch daemons PLZZZ be careful or you will end up restoring. Happened to me twice on a 3G.
