I have a 64GB iPhone 4S and I have horrible battery life. I am on the latest firmware (5.0.1) and I have no idea how to fix this. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I would really like to get this fixed. The battery drains about 20% per hour. I always have it plugged in because it will die at a very rapid pace.

    Thanks for your help!

There is no fix yet. This issues was going to be solved in 5.0.1 but didn't worked. Now Apple will hopefully fix it with iOS 5.1

Turn off some things you really don't need to use. Lower the brightness. Turn off 3G if your not using it. Turn off bluetooth. Turn of location services if you don't use it. Try experimenting with things like that.

It's all off Except, on the 4S you can no longer turn off just 3G like you could on the 4! Before, I could just use edge, now, its all or nothing.

Oh that is unfortunate! We will just wait! do you know of any ETA for 5.1?

Well some iPhone 4s are worse than others, if your the original owner you can take the phone to apple and they would gladly replace it, if not, I've heard turning off siri would help alot, if none work, try a restore (save contacts and whatnot) and do a full restore via iTunes, there are 2 versions of 5.0.1 so I'm guessing giving the newer 5.0.1 a try won't hurt, unless your planning on jailbreaking soon

Doing a restore will not fix anything.
