    Not sure what is up then sorry. From what I know when you see wildcard activated then SAM has worked and push should be working.
    iMessage is a different issue and depends on what carrier you are using the phone with.

    You do have data on the phone right?

    Ok, so of you go to settings, then messages, IMessage will be on, does it say "Waiting to activate"? If not, scroll down & look at the "Receive at" part, does your number appear there? Or your email... Or indeed both?

    Just my email but I need my number to work my boss is constantly using group imesseges I can never reply back.

    Well that's not strictly true, I've it working on a 3GS with an iPad baseband without hactivation without any issues.... As has been suggested previously here.

    Exactly as I've said here, I'd realised mine wasn't operating using my number, for which I looked at what I suggested & realised that was where the problem lies as I'd not not physically activated the number, even though this worked through email, doing what I'd mentioned here allowed me to select (once I'd activated it against my number), to use my number as the caller ID also, therefore allowing me to send & receive messages from my iPhone & only receive on my iPhone, yet also allow me to send from an iPod using my email & receive upon both devices.

    tried using SAMprefs buy all instructions don't even match up with the app. If you have fixed your push issues can you tell me if your SAMprefs looks the same. Anyone with any help would be appreciated. I need my push seriously.
    What was the point of that? Can someone plz help to get imessege plz anyone.
