I've noticed that I get better service in most places with T-Mobile. (my brother has a iPhone with att)
My cousin went to att when he got his iPhone then unlocked and went back to T-Mobile and he likes T-Mobile better. He goes traveling a lot and when he had his iPhone on att he had a T-mobile work phone with him also and it would always have better reception.

The only places att gets better service down here is at my camp and in the common building of my university.

Oh, also EDGE is faster on T-Mobile..

get tmobile, edge is faster, plans are cheaper and you dont have to sign a contract. Ask the rep about flexpay.

Ive been on AT&T/Cingular all my life so I can compare the two's service, but just remember, if you arent on AT&T, and anything hardware goes wrong, you are screwed...

unlocked iPhone = voided warranty. But all you have to do it remove the sim before you go in. Tell them your using it as an itouch at the moment.

you can't use the iphone as an ipod touch unless you jailbreak it and bypass the activation step, which technically means the warrenty is voided, unless you restore it before bringing it in. in that case, you may not be able to explain or justify how you've discovered some of the hardware issues you have without having activated the phone. hope that makes sense
