Installer.app was crashing and some of the 3rd party apps were not working correctly so i decided to restore my iPhone.

It's a 1.1.2 (OTB) with a Gevey sim that was working perfectly fine in Spain with Vodafone (bought in USA).

I decided to go through the successful process I did the first time but now, after downgrading from 1.1.2 to 1.1.1, iNdependence can't find the iPhone, neither the jailbreak.jar but iTunes does detect it. It seems to be stuck in recovery mode.

Anyone knows what I'm doing wrong?

If you have access to a Windows PC, you can run Ibrickr and it will allow you to reboot the Iphone, taking it back out of recovery mode.

Yes, I get error 1015 and from a windows PC, I could reboot the iPhone but when I type *#307# I get a number "1" and can't erase the *#307# in order to jailbreak...

    Argh. Help.

    Thank you.

Well, finally I solved it using my macBook for everything except getting out the iPhone from recovery mode. I needed a PC for that. iNdependence didn't work as it did the first time.

    Thanks all.
