Is there any step by step info in regards to adding backgrounds? I see alot of info here, I'm just not finding any guides.

Any help, would be much appreciated.

    Thanks..

I can do the icons, just can't get the background. On Skinner I use a Mac, so can't use that.

    Thanks.

    Go to skinner.
    Press choose file.
Upload as many icons as you'd like, and a wallpaper.
Drag them onto the iPhone, wherever you want them.
    Click Create Skin.
    Install to phone.

Sorry, last question. Do you need to install these files before you start creating the skins on the site? Once you have the skins install, how will it get onto the iPhone??

    Thanks..

You should create the skin first.

And the guide explains the rest.

I'm trying to create the skin, but it's not letting me create it. I follow everything you said. When I move the file over to the iphone it will not let it drop into it. It keeps sticking to the arrow of my mouse. Am I missing something?

    Thanks...

Ok, thanks...getting closer now.... I created the skin and now doing the ibp file. When I try to do that 1st initial test I am getting no such file or directory. It may be cause I don't understand this statement??:

"Make sure the first folder inside your .ipb file is named the same as your firmware version."
I'm not showing any version on my firmware, just firmware. I named the file with my skin wow, that's it.

    Thanks for all your support!!!

If you've done a software UPDATE in iTunes, then you are running 1.0.1. If not, you are running 1.0. As for the permission denied deal, read the guide please. It clearly states
Lets make sure the installipb script has the correct permissions before we do anything. Open Terminal (Applications>Utilities) and type the following (assuming you've already unzipped installipb.pl into the phonedmg folder):
    chmod u+x /phonedmg/installipb.pl
    .

Ok, I'm really sorry about this, but when I do the chmod, I'm getting no such file or directory.

*sigh*. Do you have the installipb.pl script in a different path? Click it and hit Cmd+I (i) to bring up the Info pane. There will be a "Where" line, which is the path. If it just says "phonedmg" like in the pic I attached, then there is some other issue. If it says /Users/Whoever/phonedmg, then you need to update the chmod command to use that path instead of just phonedmg.
